The Acolyte Laura Fuhrmann

We remember our members celebrating birthdays this week -- Jacob Bickel, Janice R. Buuck, Pastor Dahling, Dave Buuck, and Brett Gallmeyer.  We also remember our Wyneken school board, especially those members serving from Friedheim, Phil Franke, Jim Heckman, and Stan Stoppenhagen, as well as Dave Miller who teaches in the public school, in our prayers.   In addition, we  remember Shirley Drier, one of our Sunday School teachers, in our prayers.  May the Lord continue to guide, direct, and bless their lives.

May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all who are in need of His presence in their lives.  We especially remember  Joyce Heckman who will be undergoing consultations this week  at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis  as well as Larkanne Griffiths,  niece of Jim Bultemeyer and Rosie Bultemeier,  and Vena Moore, Gary Knipstein's sister, in our prayers.

We remember in our prayers the family and friends of Stacey Stoppenhagen, niece of Jim Bultemeyer and Rosie Bultemeier, who was called to her heavenly on Thursday,  December 28, and will be given Christian burial this afternoon at St. John's Flatrock.   May the God of all comfort be with those who mourn.

We also remember the family and friends of Laura Schultz, granddaughter of Walter Nuerge and daughter of Roger Nuerge, who was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 28.  Funeral arrangements were pending at the time the bulletin was printed.  May the God of all comfort and strength be with those who mourn.

We rejoice with Lin Overhiser and Joe Gorman who will be married tomorrow afternoon.  May the Lord bless them as they begin their lives together.

We also remember Ben and Norma Miller who will be celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary this Saturday, January 6.  May the God continue to bless this couple.

There will be no Sunday School or Bible Class this morning.  Classes will resume next Sunday.

Included in this morning's bulletin is a study guide ("Time in the Word") for this week.  Please take a few moments each day to go over this information.  The theme for the week is "Anointed with the Spirit."
